What is Pleroma? If you ever heard of Mastodon, It's basically on the same league as Mastodon, But Pleroma and Mastodon can actually communicate, Alongside other Fediverse services like Misskey, Soapbox, and many other pieces of software that interacts on this thing called "Fediverse" which typically uses the "ActivityPub" protocol to communicate. There's also other services that is vastly different like Peertube being a youtube but Federated, or Pixelfed being an Instagram clone, again federated. Pleroma is one of the few popular alt choices when it comes to the Fediverse with Mastodon being overbaringly on top which causes people to misname "Fediverse" into "Mastodon". Again, It's not the appropriate name.
