The concept is great...
The idee not new but kind of fills in the theme.
As for the drawing ( MUST say this isn't photoshop... just pure drawing) preatty neat that black contrast makes the main explosion feel fantastic :D
I quess your focus was on the explosion on the background...
The character design lacks a bit...but that EXPLOSION GAWD :P good DRAWING! I like it :D
Mind to tell that the reflection on the ground looks gorgeous in those colorpencil shades:D

Hey guys!
Here's my final piece for Jazza's February Art Challenge, Crazy Love.
This was a real challenge for be because lacking some materials forced me to draw the explosion in coloured pencils and I haven't used those since primary school :)) so yeah, I had to adapt to what I had and in the end the piece turned out pleasantly. A valuable experience I'd say, changing my usual drawing medium sure made it more fun...and stressful as well.
