This is an in color fanart of Nashville, Chattanooga, & St. Louis #576 and Southern #4501 fanart that I’ve ever made in the entire world in my entire life in 2022! In this fanart, I drew and sketched Nashville, Chattanooga, & St. Louis J3 Class 4-8-4 Dixie #576 hauling an excursion held by the Nashville Steam Preservation Society passing Southern Railway MS Class 2-8-2 Mikado #4501 at the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum Grand Junction in Chattanooga, Tennessee at 50MPH. So this fanart may actually predict the future or not weather or not the 4501 will be retired and taken out of service and when the 576’s restoration is complete. But it may happen some point when both of them would be running excursions at the same exact date like in either in 2024 or 2025 or 2026 or even in 2027 depending on 4501’s flu time because it was restored way back in 2014 for the Norfolk Southern Railroad’s reopening of their Steam program so it’s flu time May likely to expire in 2029 because it lasts every 15 years, and maybe the 4501 would be going under an FRA 15 years inspection rebuild for like 3 or 4 years and would be completed like either in 2032 or in 2033. So maybe the #4501 would most likely to meet and whistle at #576 at some point in the future when there are both running excursions together. So anyways, enjoy this fanart!
