Here is another progress pic showing my digital working process on Epic level Tiny Tin. Here my layers are separated.
I always do my outline first after I scan in the sketch.
I then put a layer below that for the flat colors.
After that I then put a layer in between the outline and the flats layer do create a shadow.
Lastly I make another layer below the shading layer for the highlights!
