While this is another piece I could look back on and think, "Ugh, this art is so ooooold, all of the cringeeeee!" it's also one of those where it's important to know the context around its conception.

Pretty much all the art I've uploaded to this point was done with a mouse. I mean, I drew it and inked it by hand, but when I colored it digitally, it was done with a mouse. This piece was the end of that era.

One of my college professors sold me a Wacom Intuos 3 (which has long since been retired and replaced), and I absolutely could not wait to play with it when I got home. You're basically looking at the very first time I ever used a drawing tablet.

I still primarily lean more to the traditional side of making art, but it really was a game changer for me. While I will tell anyone that you don't need the latest/most expensive gadgets to make art - it isn't what you have, it's knowing how to use what you have - but I also insist that you don't make life hard on yourself, lol.
