Summary of art 2019

Did my summary of art now bc idk how much im gonna draw before new years

this was a weird year for art idk i didn't actually draw a lot more than last year despite being IN ART SCHOOL

i had a strange time this year struggling with artistic identity and trying to reject cutesy anime style but idk I guess I'm doomed to always return to it. I love and hate it you know. It makes me happy but it's also the bane of my existence as it makes me feel like i'm "not a real artist", whatever that is.

september was the month i drew the most. I was having a great time that month.

i feel like i started strong, went through the middle of the year apparently trying to make my art shittier and then finished where i started but at least i ended on a good note. I am proud of a lot of the work I did this year.

This year was tougher on me than usual. Starting uni and also being my second year of illness. I'm finishing the decade in a weird place where I'm not really satisfied with anything. Like it can't end like this. There's got to be something more right? Idk. Being in pain all the time is making me tired and anxious and it becomes difficult to focus. January and November are my favorite pieces of the year.
