As the title may already suggest, this drawing is very dear to me.
Probably all of us, at some point in our lives, had to face what happened during our childhood, how it shaped us into the person we are today.
That's what this drawing represents to me: a warm hug of acceptance, comprehension and love for the person I've been.
 
Eirene, the blue dragoness, is one of the first characters I've created and used for quite a long time as a sort of self-insert. While now Alita is more of a mascot than anything else, I think there's still a connection to that small, once scared and lonely, inner child.
