The original "Machinist's Gun" just didn't feel right for some reason. Guessing it had to do with the fact it was based on a big, heavy, large gauge and most of all, single-shot gun. Way too impractical and unlikely, even when compared to her custom built "Homewrecker". So, I looked up real shotguns and found a French shotgun that fits the bill. The first kiln shotguns where just regular shotguns until purpose-built ones were made. This one, a Verney-Carron Speedline, is a semi-auto, but the bolt must be released after each shot. This can make it useful for getting around any restrictive auto shotgun laws. However, semi-autos can be converted. This one has been converted to a kiln gun (for removing slag inside a hot kiln.)
Tilda: the muscle of the team, but also the woman. Now, I don't mean in the stereotypical way of being the big dumb ugly type, tomboy style or the lesbian one. Rather, it is based on how females are expected to be weak and if they aren't, then they also won't be feminine. She is a super strong in the weightlifter way, having 'real' strength, rather than for looks - another stereotype. Hence why she has a 'fat' look, rather than toned muscles. Irregardless, she is likely the most 'feminine' of the team. Except for cooking, she isn't good at that. What she is good at is machinery, metalwork, construction and demolition. She prefers to 'build up' people, rather than 'knock down' people, unless someone relentlessly does so, then she will break them down.
Also, didn't know how to include this: she is French-Canadian, based on the stereotypes of the French easily giving up and French women being very feminine. She is hardy while still feminine. Her surname even means "beautiful fortress".
