Simple Marquise Synthetic Spinel

This is a synthetic blue spinel cut in a simple marquise pattern. I made it as a Christmas gift for my grandmother. It was a much greater pain in the ass than I ever expected. It has "simple" right in the name of the cut. Anyways, it took like 16 hours to complete, so I wasn't able to get it done in time for Christmas. I wound up mounting it on a pendant and getting it to my grandmother on the 28th I believe.
