AA- Grookey Kong

Made this last night. I finally got to try Pokemon Sword for the Nintendo Switch (Obviously). When I saw the leaks I knew I was going to choose Grookey after seeing its final form Rillaboom. From that moment on I wanted to name him Grookey Kong.
I posted it on Twitter that I named my Grookey that in-game and a friend of mine posted a line from the DK Rap sparking this picture.
I was not supposed to be working on this, but I did it anyway lol. Anyway, the link to the Tweet thread showing the progress pics and the side by side of the DK screencap from the Melee Intro is below, enjoy:
