That’s nearly the exact same thing I did but, it’s just I don’t have a drawing tablet.
When I think about isolation, the first thing that comes to my mind are
feelings like depression, anxiety or loneliness. So I wanted to create
a piece that depicts all these emotions.
For the scene I chose a person that is locked away in an isolation cell. Not
able to communicate and because of that, slowely becoming insane. To convey
a feeling of depression I colored the piece in a greyscale and tried to
minimize the gradient as much as possible. The light, shining through
the window bars, represents the unreachable and sets the contrast between
his dark, isolated world and the bright, happy outside. Not a relief,
but further deepening the pain by being a constant reminder of what he is missing.
Wich is depicted by the reflection on the floor creating the word Isolation.
I am only doing this for a hobby and because of that and the fact that I have a
full time job, I rarely have time to sit down and create an artwork. But
luckily I had a few days off from work when I watched Jazzas video. So i decided
to take part. I really enjoyed the time creating this piece, that alone was worth it. :)

I love the way you used light and shadow in this piece. Even the writings on the wall. Well done.
