i liked the idea that you encouraged people to get around the guards, rather than kill them. it was a very interesting demo. I wish there was more to it, but i can tell that you put alot of hard work into it!!!!!!!!! GOOD JOB!
Excellent demo!
I was absolutely stunned by this little demo. This has the potential to easily become #1 on the Portal, and easily one of the best Flash games of all time. I loved every aspect of it; the clever, hard-to-spot traps, the smooth movement of the character, and the graphics and different backgrounds. (The hallway with torches was excellent). However, what truly sets this game apart from others is the fighting, despite the minor problem with corners. The AI is excellent, making each enemy a potentially deadly threat, yet makes it possible to overcome all comers without suffering a scratch. I loved setting off the trap in the last stage, and dodging the bolt to have it hit and kill a guard; it is touches like these that make Dark Prophecy excel. The FOV idea is excellent, providing a truly unique feel to this game. Whatever you do for the finished version, do not speed up the backstab. Players should have the skill to make it work, and a faster weapon would make the game far too easy. It is simply perfect the way it is. The sound loop was well-chosen, but in the final version, should be added to in order to prevent repitition. I really have nothing else to say, however, your work speaks for itself. Can't wait for the full version!

That alpha kicked ass
it reminded me of some of the old school games i played on my comodore 64, the graphics and setup is really cool, expecially with the metal gear guard decetion thing
