After thoroughly soaking in the plugged version of this song I have to say that you lost a lot of emotion in the translation. The vocals are definitely supplemented by the acoustic while it seems that in the plugged version your guitar and your vocals are fighting for attention. They're both good but this one is beautiful,soulful, and it has a special place in my heart.
In the plugged version You lost the sense of hopeless repetition and your voice in this song has a frustration which can connect with the lyrics that , together, convey a sense of inability and a questionable yet senseless faith of the people around you. I don't know how I dig so much out of your music but it really speaks to me man. I hope to see you do some more unplugged because the acoustic guitar and your voice were meant to be together.

Your plugged version may be electric (and lord knows, I love my electric guitars) but this one holds so much more emotion in it, it literally sounds like your punching your guitar strings in frustration in some parts and I really dig that sort of emotion in music.
Your voice sounds like a desperate cry for help, which makes this song very compelling to listen to, the lyrics are also great.

thanks for the 9 and a good review. i probably was punching the guitar strings, frustrated with the recording process of this song! immediately after finishing the guitar recording, you may be able to hear me say "finally!" so f-ing frustrated... i'm glad it plays well to the nature of the song, and thanks for the honest critique of the plugged v. unplugged.
