Actually...
It's a bit too rock for Grandia if you ask me. I've played all the grandia games to date (except the GBC version (Parallel Trippers), which wasn't released to the US normally.) I suggest playing the first Grandia game for the PSX, listen to its four victory themes (Yeah, there are like four of them, since on disc 2, all of the battle music changes.)
I suggest doing it over, making a finite intro to the rock portion of your melody rather than starting right off the bat with it.
I also suggest you listen to the Grandia III music; since Grandia III did a jump back to some olf Grandia PSX style stuff (including the morning departure scene, which was lost with the original Grandia until Grandia III game. As well as the battle music changes after you return from your long stay in the Verse Realm (Second Time.))

I've played the first two somewhat, and the music in it is definately not rock, but somehow This track reminded me of the end-battle from G1...

Yeah
I could imagine someone in a car chase with this music in the background. The ending was way too abrupt though, and it lacked a very diverse rythm.
