Good but...
It was a good game, with good sound and layout...but I don't think you're supposed to get another shot after a hit...maybe I need to dig out my copy of battleship (if I still have it) and read them again but we never played that way...I mean it sucks when the computer kills off 2 or 3 of my ships wile I have only taken 1 shot, and it happoned a few times. Basicly the only power the aircraft carrier and batleship's had going for them was that you knew when the other guy DID find them it would take the hole 5 (or 4 for the battleship) turns for him to kill it wich means you still had a chance if you only needed to find 1 short ship still...anyway that just seemed sorta cheap to me...and cheap frustrating things are what ruin good games for me.

i start reviewing this b4 watching it, just 2 answer what the last reviewer said, there r 3 types of battleship games, classic, which is what the person knows, extra turn on hit which is what the person is on about and another type which basically means whoever shoots first will probably win. go to yahoo games and click on naval command, thats all of the types of games on there, know for the game lol, taking ages 2 come up but thats bos of my lame ass computer probably , it is good, i recommend watching it 2 ne 1
Good but not great
Some feedback: The computer plays like crap. And I don't know if the original rules allow you to fire again right after you hit something. But it's a nice version of a good pastime.

All this is is a recreation of Battleship! Quite undeserving of such a high rating if you ask me... luck-based, slow-paced, and boring.
Besides that, it says here that "the odds are against us". How? If anything, since we get the first shot, the odds are against the computer.
