Beautiful, man. Just... beautiful!
Fine piece of work. Megaman did look a little funny, but not overly distracting. The redone robot masters look awesome. ESPECIALLY Metal Man. Damn, he's freaky. I recall someone said something about basing them on some artist reditions. Is this true? Where could I find them?
And now, to address the two common complaints by dipstick reviewers.
1: USE MEGA MAN X: Plotwise, it isn't going to happen. It's based in the Mega Man world, not the Mega Man X world. As far as should have, I don't forsee it working out as well. Something more classic about the old Wily Bots.
2: ROBOTS CAN'T KILL, THAT BREAKS THE ASIMOV ROBOT LAWS: This one really ticks the hell out of me. Hello, idiots? Dr. Wily built these death machines to conquer the world! How the hell are they supposed to do that if they don't kill? Pose and look threatening? Wily never programed the Asimov laws into his robots! Wily's bots probably killed untold people in the games, they just never showed it. Man, some psuedo-intellectual snobs!
Okay, done ranting. Can't wait for Pt. 2.
