Reviews for "Lighting A Candle"

wow

Loved it from start to finish. Kinda sounded like the end to a Tear Jerker film. Nice quality and very soothing and easy on the ears. I like that is some of the music i listen too. I do have to ask if there is some meaning behind the name or if it just popped into your head. Cuz on a personal note my grandmother lights a candle at her church every week for the fallen soldiers. Being a soldier that all i could picture was an old lady lighting a candle in a church with a tear in her eye for all the fallen men and women of the war.

love it

makes u think

My God...

I have seen the light, and its' name is MilkMan-Dan.

lovly

this is just perfect.

Beautiful.... really beautiful. It's really moving, filled with sadness and sounds of instruments that are considered the saddest ones, the violin, the piano.. and sound of thunder striking down on the sky, in the back.
I can definitely see this music playing in a scene of some game or animation, when a main(or not main) character kneels before his(or hers) friend, to look down at him(or her), sadness shining in eyes, shaking squeezing pain in chest, as he's looking down, down at his fallen friend, possibly her grave... and once it's time to go and live, he leaves a lit candle there, just like the tittle of this song says 'hints'. Or he picks his fallen friend up, carring her in his arms somewhere, as a mentioned 'candle' in the tittle in this case, isn't a literal 'candle' being left there, lit, but is a symbol of the life of that person, that even tho died, won't be forgotten, and even tho had their body killed, they will stay alive, living bright and hot in heart/s of their friend/s, have his/her candle lit there, not extinguished ever.

...heh, I got very emotional there, listening to it and re-writing the review that I bit hastily wrote down long time ago. Back then I listened to it rather hastily, and commented that hasty way as well, as didn't wanted to grow sad and fall too deep into the depth of this musical creation. But today I did, and even tho don't know the full intention, image and depth that the Creator of this 'song' had in their mind during the process of creation, I experienced quite a bit of it. Well done.
