I can certainly add strings in a piano piece sometime, but for this suite in particular, I'd like to stick with solo piano.
Feel of the macabre
I love your work and I have to say that this is my favorite from you so far I think. This would be great for some kind of survival horror game sound track.
Woah, just saw this!
Thanks for the review, I hope to hear back from you again sometime!
Glad to know someone likes my work. :D
Beautiful! Absolutely beautiful!
I just love this piece. Can you believe that it almost brought tears to my eyes?
You have incredibly effective harmonic progressions, wonderful melodies, and a great sense of purpose. You're definitely on my list of "best composers on Newgrounds" now.
Also, if I may ask a question... I've never heard that "soft piano" sound before. How did you make it sound like that?
Thanks for the compliment man. Means a lot to hear praise like that.
I use GarageBand, a program for macs. The Orchestra Steinway Piano comes in the rather steeply priced orchestral Jam Pack. I got the effect be lowering the note velocity to about 30 and then i drowned it in reverb.
Seriously, thanks for reviewing. Also, thanks for faving!
Great
I dont know if i have reviewed this already, and if i have i dont care. This is just great. Every day that i go lookin around Newgrounds for something good and i cant find anything, or when i just need to relax, i come back to this piece. This is one of my favorite pieces. Its dark and relaxing, i love the progression of the song and listen to it constantly. Keep it up, i will continue to listen to you.
5/5 10/10
Thanks man! Welcome to the fan club! :D
lol.
I'm glad you like it so much. Be sure to check out the other movements too!
Love it
The piano is so calm and soothing, and the piece progresses very well. I like the ripples of notes you leave in the background for the slower parts.
