Though I can't help but feel as if the right side (Facing the Portrait) jaw is a bit pushed in.. Unless that's how you are I mean if it is I'm sorry for misleading you ^^;

you are actually correct, my jaw is a slight bit more pushed in than normal by accident, but I didn't notice it until i couldn't go back :P

I like your brush-strokes on the hair. what media did you use? i can see you've really paid attention to the highlights and shadows of your face, it definitely has paid off. next time go a step further and be more daring with the lines and shadows, you could really take your art to the next level.

This was drawn in photoshop with my tablet :) Thanks for the kind words and the suggestion. Halfway through this piece I had actually thought to maybe change it from a simple self portrait to something a little crazier, but decided against it (I didn't want to accidentally ruin something I thought was turning out so well) but I'll try something bolder for my next artwork and we'll see how that turns out :D
