Don't know if you did the melodies yourself or took loops, but it sounds good. Now mix it so that the higher instruments don't 'overshadow' the bass and the beat, and it's perfect.

From all the originals songs I have, the melodies are made here. Even with remixes I prefer to remake the notes by ear, though. But that's another story.
I wouldn't say the instruments overshadowed the bass and beat, since they're still there, it's just that I think that the bass and beat's volume was just way too low in the end. It's not supposed to stand out that much, but it's not supposed to fade away that much either. But again, if there were an update function I would've fixed this already. ;p

Lovin it, nice mix of slight techno and orchestral themes.
I would put this in an RPG/Action Game, in a battle about one of the characters' internal conflicts. Just sounds that way to me.
Love that violin part about 2/3rds way through.
Against the reviewer 2 places above me, I think the drums are perfectly fine where they are. What you could have done is added some more harmony with the choir in the background, and made the piano part slightly more prominent.
Make this a loop and you've got a glorious battle theme. The world needs more loops.

Sounds like this should've been in the Video Game section, since a lot more people are pointing out to me (both on MSN and here now) that it sounds like something for a game. Also, the violin is one of my favorite bits too. :D
You're right, a few more things could've been touched up, though sadly there's not an update function yet, or I would've done that instantly.

And you're right, I've no idea what this would classify under in newgrounds. I figured since the rhythm was slightly DnB I placed it under that.

its not DnB but that doesn't change how good it is. If u cranked up the drums a bit i think it could be categorized then. like the guy below me said, the choir needs to kick in during the climatic part of the song. As for the emptiness issue, like i said before make the drums more apparent and add another synth of some sort.. i dont know what, thats up to you =p. Love your work.

Yeah, the drums definitely are too soft. Too bad I can't update this track, I noticed it afterward as well. I had the sound cranked up really loud when I made this one.
