I don't know where you got the idea, but I love it! You should definitely think about doing commissioned work, it's a great way to earn some extra spending money. In a good month I can pull in a few hundred bucks, and that's just for black-n-white sketches. You obviously have a great eye for color as well, so who knows where that could take you!

You should make graphic novels. This looks just like the style of my favorite one, "The Darkness." They made a game off of it, too. The novel and the concept art look just like this style. It's crazy.
