Pretty wicked
I actually think this is good. As for your drawing skills I would suggest maybe putting things aside for a few minutes every couple of days and thinking of a simple image. Once you have it in mind try to doodle it on paper or on the computer. If you screw up then it's ok. Just save it and come back to it later when you calm down. Might get a cool new idea for something to add on to it.
The drawing actually looks pretty good. The only thing that could make it even better is if you possibly could have added the sound bars like they are seen in the audio portal along with darnell as well. The image is still pretty sick though as I am enjoying it to the fullest.
The coloring is also very accurate although I would suggest trying to go light at first then draw it in darker shades for each part that needed shading to make it look more 3D like in appearance.
His left leg looks a bit weird along with the eyes. With the leg I would have tried to make it look a bit more forward than going out to the left. As for the eyes I would have tried to add an expression to them as to make it look more like it is either enjoying or hating whatever is being played through its body.
Overall, pretty spiffy!!
