I would like to go off of what Haggard said to below. I absolutely hate the Firing my laser theme and I think the whole thing is pretty stupid. You though made it interesting and fun to look at. It's not the generic black person look alike who's just shooting a plain laser. You've added some spice to it.

The laser looks really good and could be a piece of art on it's own. The particles around it really add a cool effect to it that I enjoyed very much. The use of blues and whites are great for showing energy like you did. The background looked pretty cool with the spiral or ripple type style that you used.

Perhaps the eyes of the face needs some details? It's just the white part of the eye and having the pupil in it could help out a bit. Same thing with other parts of the face as well. Such as how you don't have distinct lines for the teeth and what not. I know that the face isn't the main attraction, but it would be nice to have it detailed.

Nice

The shoopdawhoop guy is overdone and it's hard to come up with something new there, but fortunatly your picture IS something new. I really like the way the laser is drawn, the colours are very nice and they are good to show the energy of the laser, because they are so bright and almost glowing.

I also like the particles that circle around the laser, even though the white particles seem to suddendly stop at the right side of the picture. I think they are behind the laser at this point, but they should be visible there as well because the "stopping and reappearing" of the white particles doesn't look that good.

Also the blue particles look like they are in front of the laser the whole time. I think to create the effect of being "behind" the laser the dots that are supposed to be behind it should be a tad bit smaller (if they already are smaller then I just didn't notice it -.- ).

Anyway, those are only two little things that don't affect the awesomeness of the picture too much. :)

Nice effects, i think that the particles that round the lazar in some parts are showed and in some parts no... thats maybe a bug (look at the one that is at the backs, in some parts is showed and in some not...)
The eyes looks nice but why doesnt he have the black circle :p
The background is nice to but maybe it would be better to center the circle of the background at the back of the lazering guy.

The particles are suppose to look like there swirling around the beam, that's why it looks the way it does..so I don't really understand your point of view.

The eyes are glowing and are full of energy that's why his pupils aren't present.

The background is simple, yet not over the top and give the illustration more depth that's why it's placed in the center.
