How about doing something beyond making a stick figure ride a skateboard? That's been done to death already.
If you must have sticks on skateboards, at least spice it up a little bit; add something surrealistic so that it'll be at least mildly interesting.
Exciting, but poor animating
This was quite exciting, and I was really intrigued by your 3d scene. If it wasn't for this, I would've classified this as yet another newbie making a skate movie. That was something original though. GOod job! However, the way characters were drawn was kinda boring, try giving them more dettail. It doesn't hurt to try something new -- even if it looks bad. It's the experience that coutns.
P.S. It won't hurt to try soem cool effects like the 3d spin around thing in Kung Fu movies, slow mo, or motion blur. Watch the Xiao Xiao movies for soem ideas.

I liked, nice smooth animation. The only flaw that lowered it from higher score is that at one point he stops... and stops going.
