Reviews for "Sentimental Mood (Soprano Sax)"

Nice man, just so nice, gotta love a good Sop

Brilliant tones from that Sop man, I'm a Bari man myself, but you just gotta love it when some plays WITH their instrument, instead of playing it.

An unforgettable piece by Duke Ellington, please next time give credit to the original artist man (only reason you lost points), I don't think you meant to be mean or anything, there are just alot of plebs around who wouldn't know who the song is from, and think it's yours.

Hat's off to ya, some awesome playing.

4/5

Kudos to you!

As a fellow saxophonist, I realize the great skill needed to play with such great tone, and do improv!

Keep up the good work!

Not bad sax playing.

The solo could've been more exciting . . . I also heard a few bum notes . . . it's improv. though. I noticed you love to use the 9 and 11 tensions over the D minor a lot. LOL. They are some cool notes, but I think it would be cooler if you used the 13 over the minor chord. The key is D so it would be a B natural I guess. It's good overall I'd say.

Nicely done, a few comments

Over all nicely played.

You tend to be a bit sharp over high A (with a soprano its seriously hard to keep it all in tune) Try some tone exercises or check out David Leibermans developing your own personal sound for some good tips on fixing that :)

Also do you practice patterns for jazz? It could help you add some rhythmic variety.

I hope this helps
