The Notes Linger Like a Cat in Front of a Fire
The bitter tang of tobacco lingers blue. Shadows hug the bricks, the dim lights but a minor note in this contrast. It is a tweed air tonight, with a splash of sudden whimsy. A well fed tune, that speaks of cold nights and warm company. A lullaby of the hearth, with strident sparks adding to, not breaking, the mood.
