I didn't see anything new.
I liked the music, it was well done. But the rest wasn't really that outstanding.

I don't think I've seen too many series dumber than the series about your stupid boot. That whole "film noir" thing you're going for there is just crap.
That being said, I do like your animation and the music you choose. Maybe if you tried something a little more interesting??
If its a prequel, why did the boot die at the end?
Eh, I think the boot needs some color. And possibly a leg.
