This is an impressive movie.
I must say, LegendaryFrog is one of this best artistic authors in all of NewGrounds. His movies are of a graphic caliber that blows just about everything else out of the Portal. This movie is, in my opinion, his best work EVER. This movie, not "The Return of Ganondorf", deserves the #1 spot on NewGrounds. This is by far one of the most impressive movies I've seen - it has the right blend of action, story, and humor - and it is very lenghty, as well.
Graphics: There is not a whole lot to say that cannot be said by viewing the movie. This is one of the best graphical movies on the portal. The character animation is very fluid, and the drawings of the characters and scenery is almost flawless. This movie is artisticly amazing. There is really no other way to describe it. 10/10!
Sound: The sound effects of this movie are impressive. I mean, they are so brilliantly placed... and they also so realistic sounding. The voice acting is very, very strong for every character in the entire movie. The background movie fits every scene nicely. Overall, the sound is just about flawless in all areas. 10/10!
Interactivity: A scene select... and perhaps a couple easter eggs I may have missed. Hard to say. More than movies movies, although still not that much. 3/10.
Style: Very, very nicely done. The graphics and sound flow together very nicely. Each scene works into the next with a solid transition, and the movie also has very appropriate humor. For example, there is a long, drawn out scene explaining plot, and a sudden bolt of humor. And then, there's an action scene, all with flawless transitions in between. And the length... I mean, it's 3+MB, but I'm guessing it is over 10 minutes long! I must say, as style goes, this one ranks very, very highly. 10/10!
Violence: Not THAT much... I mean, there's a few parts, but nothing too bad. 4/10.
Humor: This is the one thing that I see that isn't exactly consistant is all of your movies, but this one executes the humor very nicely. The jokes are very appropriate for the overall style of the movie, and were executed at just the right times. Although there are the times where the humor is just too offbeat to be coherent (Bilbo's story, for instance), this movie has a lot going for it in humor. I especially liked the Looney Toons style chase scene, and the Billy movie. Although the sporatic traces of humor that simply tries too hard prevents this movie from getting the 10. 9/10.
Overall: This is my favorite of LegendaryFrog's movies - and considering how highly respected he is as an artist (He currently has the #1, #2, and #3 ranked movies in the Portal as of the time I wrote this)... this is a must see. Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. 10/10!
Miscellaneous: What more need I say? I'm not even a big LotR fan, and I still loved this movie. Although I didn't like the 1st ORtRTA movie that much.
Final Verdict: This movie is a must-see. Even if you are not a big fan of the LotR series, there is enough humor comprehensible to those not familiar with the series to make it hilarious to them. The graphics are amazing, the sounds are well-placed and appropriate, the plot flows nicely throughout the enitre movie... this is one of my favorites. I very highly recommend this movie, and watching it has given me a new respect for LegendaryFrog.
