seriously, better than just about everyone I hear everytime i turn on the radio (as few times as i do) how do you write those amazing lyrics? i plan to begin writing music, so what kinda stuff do you use for inspiration? I try writing stuff, but it ends up looking like crappy pop lyrics with no creativity...some help?

i keep a lot of sketchbooks and always take them out with me wherever I go as you never know when inspiration might strike. I often used to find that I'd be walking along and an idea for a song title or lyrics would pop into my head, either through what I'm seeing, hearing or just randomly and I would think to myself, I'll remember that. Unfortunately as soon as I got home to write it down the words escaped me, so....
A sketchbook to carry round with you is essential, a dictaphone is even better as it helps you remember melodies.
The main thing is to keep on writing as much as possible as although I've written some (what I would consider) good lyrics for songs, I've also written some god awful ones, so it's just a case of perseverance and for want of a better phrase 'thinking outside the box':)

*Also, write about what you know, It's easier to draw from your own experiences and use them as a basis for a song. It's very easy to spot someone who is singing about something they don't really know or think about:)
Starting off with a title for a song is often a good way to get started with the lyrics also.

I don't do tabs, sorry, it's a pretty simple chord progression though, you need a capo on the 5th fret to play it the way I do, then it's just C, Cmaj9, Am, Fmaj7, Gadd9, on a loop:)c
