Nice
This was a fun side scroller space game it gets fast real quick with some nice gameplay the art is simple but that also keeps it fun, I think you could use more medals anyways nice game

Thank you for your feedback! Development has been stopped because I may or may not have lost the game files (or they are somewhere deep inside my downloads folder). I am working on another space shooter game just like this one but it is top-down and you can move it freely. Hopefully you might like that.

I liked the premise but unfortunately the game isn't working properly for me.
On my first playthrough the ship just kept flying after getting past the asteroids and UFOs until I eventually died and repeated the stage in an endless loop, then after reloading the page (and getting the medal for some reason) I got what I believe was the intended text message for completing the stage "Congratulations, player! You have survived the wave of asteroids and UFOs." but the stage started over with the ship flying over the early access preview message but with no UFOs or asteroids, then after reaching the planet again the space stage started again in front of the image of the space captain after he explained the job and introduced us to the ship again and then the stage entered an endless loop in front of the early access preview message.
I'm playing on Firefox and Windows 10, hopefully you can discover what went wrong.

I think what is going on is that I coded it so by accident it switches the backdrop to the early access message. I cannot work on it right now but some time tomorrow I will fix it.
