whew, for a moment, I thought Symphony of Specters got shut down. You made me go and check :P. I didn't know you were one of the musicians from there o.o. This may be nerdy, but I have actually used this song as a Dungeon Master in one of my DnD games. I mentioned that I was playing it from "Symphony of Specters" but looks like I now found the real artist.

I wish I could remember! I found them hanging about some free sound effects library. The howls were actually incredibly raw and low quality, and had to mess around with them for about an hour to have them sounding decent enough.

This song is so sad, and yet so mystifying, it's wonderful.
As the wolves howl, magic runes glow on the ground, energy starts to course through them.
The energy soon builds and arcs about 12 feet into the air as a bunch of small rocks, also carved with glowing runes, arrange themselves in a circle around the arc.
The energy is immediately diverted into these stones, and a portal opens, revealing the realm of the wolves.
