Less is more, I always say. I have a small nitpick but nothing too grand. When you make a shoot 'em up it's better to give the player an incentive to let go of the fire button. Most games fix this by making you go slower when you're actively shooting, for instance. If there's not an incentive to not hold down the fire key you might as well make shooting automatic.

Another thing is that when you use the arrow keys the browser moves up and down. I recall there's an option to stop Newgrounds from doing that, so it's easy enough to fix.

But other than that it's perfect. Damn this game is fun.

Thanks! There is a pretty massive reason to not hold down fire. When not shooting you charge up a super shot that shoot through multiple enemies and walls and does more damage.

I will check on the arrow keys, never use them myself...
