I seriously was wondering, how you scanned a painting that well, well done, used a reference? Amazing wether you did or not. Love the almost photographic sense to it, almost just a random moment that mom managed to take a photo of her.

I didn't scan it, it's 100% digital.
I did use a reference image, forgot to put it in the comments; I used a photo from gjoa.deviantart.com - check Gerrit's gallery out, he is quite the photographer.

that is a true work of art. it is extremely detailed and use of colours as well as tones realy dippict the character in it well. it generally follows a more loder style in the sense of a painting which is refreshing to see. keepp up the good work
