While it is too dark I do realise that's the look you were going for Wichita is nice but in this case I think it was just Anita much. But really nice job on the eyes

i like it and i agree with surn to add some sheen to it, and i think maybe take away one of the colors around the eyes
try to make it a bit more realistic and less anime-ish because that is also what makes it look like a pokemon
Interesting...I like it.
My suggestion to avoid the "pokemon look" is to change the eyes, perhaps to something without pupils. Also, If it's a water creature I'd suggest adding a little more luster to the skin (unless it has fur). Do you have a name for it?
