Reviews for "LoZ - Beauty of Zora's Domain"

Nice piece.

Excellent job, keep making things like this, its really good.

You've Got Talent

Eh.. It seems that this track is really getting anywhere from my point of view. I mean, when you use the Legend of Zelda music in your songs, you should really start posting them in the Video Game genre, not classical. This isn't very classical at all, it's more ambient than anything.

The scores you came up with on your own were basic and simple, the only thing I really liked about this boring track were your key skills. You play the keys pretty well, and that's really about all I can think of about this track.

Also, you really need to start responding to reviews.

Setu-Firestorm responds:

I usually only respond to reviews when I feel the need to, either to clarify things or answer a question.

Also, I began to post these renditions in the Classical genre because of their orchestral roots. I would post it in the Video Game genre if I felt that it was the right genre to post it in, but most certainly the "Ambient" genre is so entirely relative that it's almost hard to say what does or doesn't qualify in that realm.

I don't normally do renditions; I much more prefer to do my own original works. I'm just currently working on this project and occasionally feel the impulse to do a rendition of something else. My music is rather simple, but it is not a lack of ability that causes it to be that way -- it is a preference. I much enjoy composing music that is simple because I see and feel far more beauty in the simple things than in the complex. If you listen to some of my other pieces (like "I Feel So Alone" and most of my rock pieces) you will see that I am indeed capable of surpassing the simplicities and just choose not to in my orchestral work.

Personally, this particular piece is not one of my most prided pieces, but it is sufficient to serve its purpose of creating the necessary atmosphere for the visual performance of its production.

Thanks for the review.

Outstanding

This is absolutely excellent. You must compose for the next Zelda game nao.

beautiful

This amazing! You really capture the beauty and wonder of the Zora's domain while staying true to the original theme. I love this film score music you're composing for LoZ. It really is amazing, stuff that would really fit into a Zelda movie. I would know. I love them!
