Reviews for "The Last Dog"

good pero compricado :)

I admit this was a very weird game. I still loved it! I've never seen a Pong game like this before! I certainly didn't even know it would be like a "Pong" game. It was very unique. I love the sprite work.

I could feel for this guy and his dog. I wish there were more boy and his cat stories. This is still a great game of course. I really had no idea what was going on. In this case, it was good.

An original mix of a handful of classic game mechanics.
Resulting in a nice 2 handed or even better and more fitting 2 player adventure.
Not fast enough myself to see if there is a way to "beat" the Reaper of pets, or if there is a scripted second fail trigger.
Not sure but with skill, luck and trapping the ball in a corner early to quickly ramp up speed it might be possible to deplete the bar.
If no-one else has posted by a video by then I might try a couple two player run on Saturday to find out.
Either way great little game and story.

And just out of curiosity how large part of our animals where affected by this ascension/wipe?
Just dogs, most pet animals, most domestic animals etc.
The potential implication that dogs and maybe some of the most selfless and loyal pets are the only ones worthy of ascension before the world is (about to be) doomed with the melancholic and somewhat hopeful ending where the protagonist himself has learned to be selfless too by the dog is just beautiful and intriguing.

Really cool game, but "retry" button doesn't work ;-;

I've updated the game so it shouldn't freeze now!

While I didn't have quite the same experience as others with the story, I'll say it was a solid game. The pixelart was reliable and looked good, but the combat mechanics was what caught my eye. The very idea of it is fascinating; I heavily suggest you focus on refining it
