Game works really well considering I'm playing this on a crappy laptop. Still the melee could use some work and It would be nice to have a key change. This game is giving Hotline Miami vibes so that's a good imo. I hope you improve on this concept and add more levels and maybe an enjoyable story. Though, gameplay and mechanics should come first when making a video game.

The game isn't bad, looks good and the va is... fine considering the size of the dev team, but the combat just feels sluggish. The amount of slide in this game is unrealistic and unwanted, the block is unforgiving, but I think both of these are fixable. For one, literally half the time to go from standstill to full walk. Also, maybe make and audio cue for the block, or make the weapon go yellow or something? I like this game enough to bother writing a review, it's impressive tbh.

combat mechanics are just bad
Good idea, bad execution. The melee combat is very flat and hard to use. The axes and sledges are particularly annoying, the AI experiences no loss of fire rate while wielding them but still gets extended reach.
