Reviews for "Nova Mortuus"

It's 2:30 at night...

And here I am, listening to your music.

Your first jump into DnB, eh? Drums / percussion have defenitly improved. Now if only we heard more of this in your techno set, and we'd have a real masterpiece.

Nonetheless, the song sounds really nice, at least to me. IMO, the song is a little too frantic and fast paced to be showing the remains of a Nova (trust me, I've had a fascination with Novae and Supernovae since I was like 10).

I'm sure you've already heard it, but Karco also has a song called Nova, and another representing the "aftermath" of said Nova.

I really like the motercycle-esque sound used throughout. The piano itself is beutiful too. As said though, the rest of the song's fast paced-ness kind of cancels it out, while at the same time making it sound pretty good as well.

Pretty Good Job!

Pretty good job man! i think ur better at techno and trance! but its a good first at D&B!

I have a real DnB song in the works. This one I would classify more as techno and looking back, I should have submitted it in the techno genre. But anyways, we'll see how my real DnB turns out!

Definite Top Dnb Track

Its now easy to say that you have a DnB track that deserves top 20 of all time. Your originality and effort in this song is just stunning. What captured my interests was how different this actually was from the regular riffing DnB tracks; what with their simple two step and a simple 4 note melody, they would think that top the charts. Sadly, only tracks like this one would make top charts. You had many good points of this song. The only thing I found wrong that it kind of mixed a little too much of some sounds. And mate, THIS IS A DNB song, not a techno song. I don't know what these reviewers are saying, but its obviously the 2-step you hear on Dnb tracks.

Cool.

I really enjoyed this. I love drum and bass. It's one of my favorite genres.

This song had a lot going on. Which didn't make it boring. You had a good variety of melodies, switching on and off.

The drums were great. Sometimes, it sort of had a
James Bond feeling too it.

Overall, it sounded cool! Keep up the great work!

One of the better Techno to DnB

One thing I don't like about Techno artists who try DnB is there lack of changing over. They always do something wrong. Most of the times its with the drums, but you did those great. However, you didn't get the other aspect right. Not the bass, but the LEADS. You don't use leads in a DnB song! Not a bright decission. Also, this song was too eerie. That would cause some people to dislike it. But I'm not one of those people. I liked it. <3

I usually make my songs first, then try to decide what genre it would fit in. It seemed most likely at the time to fit into the DnB genre, but looking back I probably would have had more sucess if I had submitted it as a techno song...
