Overall pretty good rougelike game. The difficulty climb is manageable for a roguelike, but the timeout systems makes the game pretty difficult in the late game when your fighting tough enemies and you don't get the time to kill them constantly being put at 1 hp. It forces you to have a high damage outcome, and really doesn't fit the "souls-like with a twist" well. I recommend having the time limit scale (if it already has that, make it scale higher.) For an example on Wave 15, you have no time limit. but in just a couple waves, I encountered the same slime boss with a flying enemy. I was doing well until the time limit struck me down. Really polished and fun! The animation is really good but i have some suggestions. You could add some Hitstop which is when the game freezes for a second after you hit your enemy, it really adds some impact and juice. i also thing that a block and parry mechanic could be added for some extra depth?
