Reviews for "Tribute to Getter Robo"

How a tribute is done

You follow through the spirit of the anime perfectly. My only complaint is how the art moved so quickly that it became confusing at times, but it still is wicked cool.

Can I make a suggestion?

OMFG, thank you for that, you have made me a happy man. But could you also make Devilman, Grandizer, and Violence Jack (which are also Go Nagai's creations) flash movies also?
I would really love that.

Thanks alot!

mmark-oldflash responds:

If your willing to watch, hell, I'll do all of those. I hope you don't mind the music from the Force Five version of Grandizer.

holy cow!

how were those characters created? dont tell me by hand...3ds max? amazing...

mmark-oldflash responds:

Well, for the second character that appeared in the movie, I had to draw each frame seperately. I sure did learn a lession about animating and how long it can take.

Pretty good

My only gripe is you didn't use the first intro and song on the oav. Maybe you can do a "sequel" with that? :)

mmark-oldflash responds:

Well, the first intro didn't feel quite edgy enough. I like the music, but pretty much all the first intro was were scenes from the first three episodes and nothing more. This one has more scenes from the entire series.

I know Getter Robot

I don't really like it. it's not my style.

Your tribute is pretty much like the series' intro except for the graphics(in this one they're too straight. No curves) and the text. The series had a cool 3D text in the intro. This one doesn't. Well done anyway. It must have been boring, tracing the intro frame to frame...
