Reviews for "TAA--Dueling with Demons"

This is just what I need!

I like the idea of using stuff like this in fight scenes, so I will, thanks!

TheAmateurAnimator responds:

Thanks! I took a quick peek at your stuff and agree, this IS what you need!

BEST THING I'VE EVER HEARD (Except ParagonX9)

This is very good. It kinda sounds like a combination of Megaman Legends (the organ sounded like the battle with Juno) Metroid (The choir sounds like the Chozo song) and Halo (Another part of the choir sounded like that.) Excellent job my friend. You may just beat ParagonX9 yet (although I doubt it. No offense, though) MetroidMan, END TRANSMISSION /O_o

TheAmateurAnimator responds:

I don't think that I'm quite close to beating PX9, but this song did feel like a major step forward for me in terms of DnB and composition. Thanks for the review!

Uhh... Nice!

Well, I had to give this a 9 even though I had 10 in all categories, due to some missing categories that I could use to describe music.

Now, I love organ music (especially Bach) and I love DnB (especially Paragon), so effectively, I'd love this! And I did!

I really liked some of the drum work. It was very complex, yet it fit well with the melody. I think that it wasn't covered up whatsoever.

The organ was nice, although there wasn't enough chords to make me happy, but then again, there are never too many chords.

The choir was a nice touch, adding some helpful ambiance to the song.

The bass was too quiet. I would advise bringing it out more.

This was not video game, it was definitely DnB... or something to that effect.

Overall, great song, keep up the good work!

TheAmateurAnimator responds:

I nearly put in chords, but I didn't want to make the organ overpower the drums too much. Perhaps I was wrong. Thanks for the review.

Its strange....but good ^^

I give this a 9 :) its a strange mix. but it works. the choir and strings give it that video game feel to it, this track belongs on an RPG or something :)Nice work.

Few point outs= the choir and strings do drown out the drums a little, and are a bit high in frequency. need to come down a bit on that. but overall. good flow :)

check out my Dnb Tracks ^^

TheAmateurAnimator responds:

Thanks. I'm beginning to think that I might have categorized this wrong; it does seem to have a distinct video game quality.
