The image here was done using vector-based methods, it was then used as a guide while assembling the physical piece using bits of colored acrylic and frosted glass. Once the image was reconstructed, the whole thing was sandwiched in between two pieces of glass, a sheet of plate glass for the front and a sheet of double frosted glass in the back. It was then framed and brought to Otakon where it was displayed and then auctioned off.
If this were in a church...
I'd give up my atheism and worship the God that is this piece. O_O No wonder it's so popular! It's amazing!!! Keep up the epic work! ^_^b
Thanks, this piece was a lot of fun to make. I'm hoping to do more work with stained glass in the future.
