Reviews for "Alley of the Dolls Pt. 4"

Wasnt that great

i didnt really like it, i mean it was ok and all good drawing and stuff i just didnt really like the story line hope to see more though...

robfeldman responds:

It's PART of a storyline...see Alley of the Dolls parts 1,2 and 3 that precede this one.

hmmm..

you really shoulda put more into it. Good graphics and all but i mean it was just cheesy and uneventful, plus it looks like that old movie the puppet master. pretty unoriginal

robfeldman responds:

That's the idea---glad you caught on.

hmmmmm

With animation that great it's tough to complain. There wasn't much in the form of violence, the fight was basically a punch. The whole story I don't know, but I'll check out the past few soon enough. The voices were damn good, but the actual villains don't seem so tough. As for the hero, he looks like the guy in "The Shadow." Lack of action is probably the reason it's not getting a ten. As for what happens next (it says "you decide") I'd have the dolls turn on him...that'd be bad ass.

((( GREAT STUFF )))

Not bad, that was some great animation, and great story to go with some very nice artwork, this is more then newgrounds, love the black n white style aswell, keep up the great work, and congrats on the top 3rd award...

~X~

OOh.... Dr shroud in trouble...

As I've hinted before, this is real B-movie fare, but I suppose that's what you were going for?

I just realised we still don't know what the deal with his medication is...

There wasn't any distortion in the voices in this episode and the animation is also steadily improving.

Wow, I'm so glad I don't have to wait for months for the finale. :)

robfeldman responds:

Hey Bezman-
Thanks for all of your comments on all the episodes. I appreciate the time you took to provide an honest (and flattering) evaluation. Yes, I always aimed for a B-movie, 60's superhero look (I do come from a comic bakground). The look, feel and exectution of Dr. Shroud will improve as I go along and we slowly uncover his past, present and future. Thanks again.

Best,
Rob
