It started a little slowly (you probably meant to do this), but about at halfway (estimation) it got WILD! I liked it! Good beat, good rhythm, this is just something you want to dance to! Great work. Can't wait to see your next piece of art...or music.
Hey Maz, indeed, the song starts out slow because I wanted it to be different from the other mixes I've done of it. A little more like the original Icecap.
But halfway through I pretty much realised I couldn't get away with not making it fast and forcing people to pump up the volume.

Usually I can't wait for NG to update with a new week of top songs so I can find new awesome music to put on my ipod. This week's submissions have been a real let down. This song however is excellent. It's very catchy and mellow in the beginning and then picks up later but the whole song is wonderful.

I've honestly lost count of how many fan renditions and remixes I've heard of Sonic the Hedgehog 3's Ice Cap Zone Act 1 and 2 BGMs. Seriously, is the music to those two levels from that game THAT DAMN POPULAR!!!? I guess I answered my own question. Well, I will say this rendition is one of the two best renditions I've ever heard of the two levels so far. In my opinion, though, the music sounds a lot better before the techno aspect kicks in, although the techno aspect really isn't all that bad. I'm gonna download this and put it on my next mix CD, because I do think it's really good.
Where'd the energy go?
This has the least energy of your three IceCap remixes. I would have given this an 8 but you used so many different and cool sounds and instruments that you get an extra point.
