Reviews for "Detective Frofrog"

FroFrog is pretty funny

Well it's not as bad is i tought it would be but it can use more violence if there was more violence my grade would be around a 9

McRhyme responds:

More violence. Well, no... I never wanted to make a violent movie, sorry. I try to make neat animations, no cheap points!

Got all 10 out of 9

Why did you put in 10 Eggs. Next time you should have the person win extra footage or somthing for getting all 10. Good job though. I enjoyed your story but needs more adventure or action. I might be lame for saying this but I have never seen Hitchhikers Guide movie. Keep up the good work. -matt

McRhyme responds:

What?! There's no way you could get ten - Unless you were cheating. Anyway, if you do collect more than 9 eggs (which is impossible) the movie will spot you cheat and won't reward you.

Huh?

Je ne comprends pas. The only joke I got was the black hole thing. What the hell was going on in that movie? Who was the mysterious girl, and why were the pirates after her? Will she be saved? Why is FroFrog a detective? Will Quadro get his head chopped off? Will that two-mouthed guy ever become normal again? Will these questions ever be answered? I did like the jazz, though.

It made me laugh

and since you all exist to serve my strange porpoises(not a mispelling unless ive spelt yet another word for dolphin wrong)

McRhyme responds:

Good thing :)

It's hard to spel.

Origanal, but needs improvement.

It's great to see someone with original ideas and creativity make something.

I enjoyed the characters and the humor, but things moved very slowly and there were lapses with nothing filling them. Sometimes this makes sense in a movie because you are building suspense, or another element, but here it felt unintentional. Start off with Violence, sex, something supernatural, and the promise of more of all three (Shakespeare always had one or more in the first 15 minutes of his plays). Especially for an NG crowd. Then condense everything to the bare minimum. Take out all lines that don't move things along. You are making a very short film, so each second needs to bee treated as important.

Liked the hand-drawn graphics, but try to use color to bring out form rather then a coloring book approach.
Liked the humor. The axes. He promised not to cheat and to only use one of his brains. The black-hole grog.
Cut it down, speed it up, and have a satisfying plot in each episode, even if it is a piece of a whole.
