A really nice concept. I should make more robots too.
You should experiment a bit more with coloring. use a different color to shade with Like dark brown or dark red, It will make him look a lot more realistic and give the image a more interesting color pattern.

The perspective, the lighting, everything. Really fine piece you made.
But when you think about the logic, the tear on the ground doesn't make sense unless he was propelled back or something :P

It is awesome, but it needs a bit of a cleaning up, just on some parts the colors will go into a different section.
Also the shadow doesn't seem to match the figure.
But it looks bad ass, and the sharp edges on the teeth and claws are brutally awesome!!
