the guy just sits there and stares at you. if you want to make it super awesome try making him blink and make different expressions.
in this....he looks like a robot.

I like the newgrounds news idea (cough.. i have the same idea cough). However you are not the offical news yet... and you will see why in 2 weeks.. mUAHAHA.
Problems:
1. This was more like a newsbrief than news, however newsbriefs tend to be much more informative.
2. Shut up the bitching: You are acting more like Roger than an actual newscaster.
3. Speak clearly: the entire time you were talking through your nose, it is very easy to tell since you were begining to sound like a donkey (i had the same problem).
4. Why are you dissing the sprites? It takes alot of effort to capture the sprites (in the right animation) and modify them. Research first please! By the way, the clockcrew submits more movies that fail on the spot. If they succeed their either that good or by default, the clockcrew's size can easily push a clock movie to a newgrounds spot.
I hope the next one is better. You need alot more material.
