Good question...the answer is because Space Invaders wasn't originally an analog game, and making it mouse controlled changes the dymanics of the game, so much so that it doesnt play like SI at all anymore.

so yea a-ha was a good band. and this game is also a good game. brings me back to the seventies when i was hanging around in non exsistance.
