Theres the kids who played runescape as a teen, the kids who played roblox (we're not as good), and then theres the fortnite kids (I cringe everytime i see someone playing fornite) This just reminds me of Xbox Live because that's what i grew up using.
I got lost like 5 times
10/10 genuinely hit me
I haven't visited Newgrounds in years(that's also nostalgic on its own) and happened to come across this narrative game. I think it's relatable to anyone reminiscing their teenage years. I was that kid asking for a runescape girlfriend. I thought I had forgotten all about that uncomfortable part of my life but here the game reminded it all again, haha. Anyway, childhood traumas aside, this was well put together - the narrative delivers the feelings of the protagonist in a raw way. Pacing of the dialogue was nice as well. Gameplay-wise, though, while I understand the choice of floaty movement to fit the atmosphere, I wish it didn't feel like I'm sliding on ice - moving around was tiring. Bettering movement handling and some map awareness would have been nice. Overall, this is a little gem I will remember fondly since the story compensates for any technical hiccups. Thanks for making this.

The saddest part is I am able to relate to this except for asking a girl to be your girlfriend.
