Reviews for "Seres"

I love it!
You truly face a tough challenge in our first round, so I commend you for writing such a good track!
Naturally, your opposition has also come up with a brilliant piece, hehe...
So it'll be interesting to see what the judges think!

Just wanted to let you know I reaaaally love some of the chords, melodies and transitions here :D
That's what I'm all aboutttt :DDD
Good luck o.O

Onefin responds:

Hey thanks for the encouragment lsd

i really respect your transitions

and sound design

and arps.

uh but im not sure if you can just paste a section from the beginning into the end and say "ha ha its coherent now!!" i dont think that works outside of a contest =p

P.S. unexpected homestuck at 1:58 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8GVlwRrXC8

Onefin responds:

I made a full circle in key changes so I slapped a part from the beginning at the end there :P

And like I said in the description I don't think coherence was a thing that existed too much

so whoops

In my opinion, it's so perfect and on point. I love the tempo and how all the parts go so well together <3 I can't wait for the results and the final version! Good luck ^.^

Onefin responds:

final version coming to a computer new you in like less than an hour

The very classic Inf1nity we enjoy. The tempo adjustments for the melody change transitions, the instrumentations, the catchy melodies... And the detail, obviously. Expect nothing less than that.

Onefin responds:

there will be more detail in the final draft

I gave it a first listening and was like, "Yeah, okay, but I'm less transported than usual..."
Then I thought "Wait, it's 1f1n1ty - headphones recommended !"
I put them on, turned up the volume a little and oh boy. I had missed so many instrumentation details on that first listening. I'm not disappointed at all - the arragement feels complex, yet weirdly enjoyable, and I've always liked your rhythms : occasionally, they get out of the ordinary (for example, the drum kit used in Within the Sadness).

And at the end of it all, yeah, I'm convinced, and it does take me away to an unknown land again... As far as usual.

Something keeps me from giving that whole fifth star though (I'd give 4.8 if possible, but sadly it isn't), but I can't quite lay my finger on it :[

Onefin responds:

headphones recommended should go without saying but some people are dumb sometimes :P

thanks for the encouragement man. don't think it'll be enough to beat bfj but time will tell
